Victoria Thayer As Cover Story Interview Feature – TheCelebrity.Online April 2023 Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

Victoria is a first-generation Latina immigrant who is a certified public accountant in Madison, WI, with 8 years of experience. Victoria was born in Venezuela and her family roots are from Ecuador. Victoria’s mission is to provide financial clarity to business owners so that they can achieve their goals. Another passion of hers is to empower other CPAs to create an impact on their communities.

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?

Victoria Thayer: My transition from childhood to adult occurred the day that I moved to the United States. I was blessed with a scholarship to study at the University of Rochester, NY. I only studied English for one year and had no family or friends in the country. Prior to coming to the USA, I only saw this country in movies.
I had to become independent very quickly and had to learn to make new connections. The best thing I remember is being exposed to a whole new world of possibilities that I only thought were possible in movies. I was able to take all sorts of classes and increase my knowledge.

The bad thing about my transition was the physical separation from my mom and my aunt who are my close family. We had been together all the time and that was the first time we had not been there.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Victoria Thayer: I wouldn’t call it a hardship, but I was born in circumstances where my mother had to make a lot of sacrifices to give me an education. My mother worked as a maid, and we used to struggle to meet the basic needs.

I remember as a kid, my mom one day asked me if I wanted an ice cream and I ordered the cheapest one because I knew our financial situation. At that point I promised myself that I will work hard to be able to give back to my mom and my aunt for all the sacrifices that they made their entire life to help me get a shot in life.
Looking back I am thankful to have lived that circumstance because it allowed me to have the drive to do something valuable with my life and to help those around who are also struggling.

What do people usually not know about you?

Victoria Thayer: I studied chemical engineering as an undergraduate at University of Rochester and had an internship in Germany performing carbon nanotubes research.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

Victoria Thayer: My commitment to serve others. I truly believe that happiness comes from serving others and adding value to those around us.

What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?

Victoria Thayer: I will be participating in Midwest Mujeres Yo Quiero Dinero event coming up in 16 June 2023. This is an exclusive story telling event that will touch on stories from colored women about the wage gap.

Black women and Latinas are paid 0.55 cents to the standard for the same job that I white male does. This event will shine the light on this important issue affecting our community.

What are your food preferences and physical attributes?

Victoria Thayer: In order to achieve our dreams we need the health and energy to become our better versions and that’s why I am mindful on my eating habits. I also love to work out every day and in 2023 I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and starting doing triathlons.

Your love life, relationships and family?
