Sharyon Anita was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.
Sharyon Anita As Exclusive Cover Story – September 2023
How do you introduce yourself?
Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?
Sharyon Anita: I’m still adjusting to adulthood… lol. The main things I appreciate about my transition has been the discovery of my own talents and power in situations I previously may not have recognized as a child.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Sharyon Anita: I’ve been to 38 countries at this point of my life, and walking through the world as a Black woman has been a mixed bag. I’ve seen first hand how anti blackness is global, and how misogyny harms everyone around it.
What do people usually not know about you?
Sharyon Anita: I’ve found a lot of people expect others to be two dimensional, but understand themselves to be Multi faceted. Folk that are drawn in by my appearance may be confused or off put by my intelligence, folk who think I’m smart can be confused by my humor, etc.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
Sharyon Anita: I don’t really see anyone as a “competitor” aside from myself yesterday. As long as I pay attention to regular improvements, I have no need to compare myself to other people. That being said I create for fun, as opposed to it being primarily for money, so I feel that may come across in whatever I’m creating at the time.
What are your upcoming major events?
Sharyon Anita: All my peeps are striking right now, so I’m primarily working on writing screenplays, and continuing my web series about dating “the Free Woman Tales”https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIxuQsFiiDNVeNKeN4tkeOl0yuVPfOKDI
I’ve also recently self-published 2 books:
A daily affirmations e-book:
And a journal:
What are your food preferences and physical attributes?
Sharyon Anita: At this point, I eat everything that doesn’t eat me first, with moderation, of course.
Your love life, relationships and family?
Sharyon Anita: Not Answered.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Sharyon Anita: The only advice I’d give at this point is that it is so worth it to work on yourself emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We often are so consumed with our appearance, that we end up walking around hollow with a pretty package.
That’s unsustainable especially with all the changes we’ve been going through collectively for the last few years. Emotional intelligence and maturity will change your relationships, your health pretty much your entire life, I’m finding.
