How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, we are identical twins sisters, Julia and Stephanie. We live in Munich (Germany). We built up a good base 10 years ago through Instagram. We actually come from weight training. In the last 3 years we have been extreme athletes, setting 12 and 24 hour world records.
SquatTwins Childhood to Adulthood
We have always been extremely ambitious people. On the one hand, it’s good because we follow through with everything we set out to do. With the world records, for example, it’s a positive quality, but it put us under pressure, especially as teenagers. We are also both perfectionists. As teenagers, we found these two characteristics stressful. Today, it helps us to have an extremely strong mentality.
SquatTwins Struggle
We started strength training because we were both diagnosed with a heart defect by chance during a routine examination at the doctor’s when we were 20. Both of our right heart valves have not closed properly since birth. At the beginning, we were naturally very worried when we went to bed, wondering whether we would wake up the next day.

We currently have 5 world records.
What makes the SquatTwins standout?
We try to be authentic, especially in the fast-paced world of social media, and above all to be who we really are. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We are the same people with and without Instagram.
SquatTwins upcoming major events
We will set a new world record on International Childhood Cancer Day in February. We are doing a big charity event for all our records. In February, we’re raising awareness of childhood leukemia and how important it is to register.
SquatTwins food preferences
We have Hungarian roots so we love Hungarian food. We love spicy food.
SquatTwins love and relationships status
We are both singles. We have no kids and was never married.
SquatTwins Expert Advice
You have to live life because you never know how long you have. Don’t put anything off until later. We have a tattoo “everything happens for a reason”.
