Ghadeer Alruwalili was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.
How do you introduce yourself and profession?
My name is Ghadeer, and I am an aspiring actor. As an international film student, I’m very excited about the future of my career in this sector.
Childhood to Adulthood – How was the transition from your childhood into adulthood/teenage and what good and bad things you remember?
My transition into adulthood was a very significant time in my life. I had moved abroad to study and experienced full independence for the first time. Acclimating to a life hours away from my previous one and creating new friendships was hard, but this experience taught me invaluable lessons and pushed me out of my comfort zone.
Struggle – What hardships you faced during your life?
Growing up as a woman in Saudi Arabia meant I constantly had to prove myself over and over. My personal freedom was restricted by strict gender segregation and conservative norms. These struggles taught me resilience and determination to advocate for gender equality. Despite these hardships, it taught me to be a strong individual, driven to challenge societal norms.
Things that people usually don’t know about you?
Me being a little bit into everything leaves a lot that people don’t know about me. For example, I love extreme sports and go skiing regularly. On the other hand, I’m a big fan of the nu-metal music genre, which always surprises people coming from a 5’2″ girl.
What makes you unique from your competitors in the industry and life?
My ability to bring a fresh perspective and a unique voice to the industry as I came from a different culture sets me apart from other competitors.
What are the major Upcoming Events, Products or Services that you want to inform our readers about?
Nothing in particular comes to mind, but I just want to remind everyone to shop locally and support local businesses!
What are your diet preferences, physical appearance, sizes and measurements?
I like to eat clean and try to eliminate processed foods as much as possible. For my physical appearance, I lean into an alternative look with an interest in piercings and tattoos. I’m 156 centimeters, so that makes me petite.
What Expert Advice would you like to share with the readers about professional and social field of life?
Based on my experiences in the professional field, I have learned that embracing a diverse range of interests can be a strength rather than a limitation. My advice is to explore various passions and embrace your multidimensional nature. My advice for the social aspect is to embrace your individuality, regardless of societal norms or expectations. Be proud of your unique background, interests, and talents. Embracing diversity not only enriches your own life but also encourages acceptance and understanding in society.
