Adrian Savinovic As Exclusive Cover Story – June 2023
How do you introduce yourself?
Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?
Adrian Savinovic: I spent the first half of my life living in Africa and traveling all over the world as a refugee of the Bosnia Civil War in 1991. I grew up in extreme poverty, living in some of the worse and most dangerous conditions imaginable, witnessing things that most people will only see in movies or read about in books while constantly watching my father struggle to feed our family of 3 and keep us all afloat. My youth was an interesting time as I got to witness some of the poorest places on earth while also myself being a refugee with my parents. As the years went on I became a 3 sport athlete, competing nationally and internationally, winning numerous awards and trophies while at the same time developing a love for acting and performing. I finished an international high school in Africa at the top of my class at a very young age skipping a couple of grades along the way and at age 15 with a scholarship in hand, a hundred dollars and a duffle bag headed to the US by myself.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Adrian Savinovic: I came to the US in 2000, landed in New York City not knowing anyone, by myself, still a young 15 year old teenager. I started college on the East Coast in September 2000 and in 2004 after graduation I again moved by myself to Los Angeles, California for my first masters at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles).
What do people usually not know about you?
Adrian Savinovic: Before I got into health, wellness, nutrition, biohacking and fitness I had a career in Hollywood as an actor, writer, director and producer. I was also homeless, slept on the beach, in parks, on benches, people’s floors and all sorts of places. At times I lived on only water and bread alone and was so grateful to have that.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
Adrian Savinovic: As the years went on I became a very well known and greatly sought after celebrity Hollywood trainer, nutritionist, health and wellness coach and biohacker. I started getting endless degrees and certifications in sports science, sports medicine, sports nutrition, sports psychology, kinesiology, physiology, fitness and rehabilitation. I trained and worked with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, the music industry and fashion. I then transitioned and started working with military special forces, police special units and pro athletes in soccer, football, basketball, hockey, baseball, track and field, volleyball, UFC, boxing swimming, rugby, and tennis. I became known as the health, wellness, biohacking and fitness guru.
What are your upcoming major events?
Adrian Savinovic: I have now evolved my business and create health wellness fitness and nutrition plans and consult with private high end companies, businesses brands and also work one on one with exclusive high net worth individuals locally, nationally and globally. I currently have several major projects in the works, a men’s and women’s sports workout clothing line, a healthy eating and living cookbook, and a nutrition and supplement line for adults and kids all which should be launching one by one over the next 6 months to a year. On top of all that I am also working on building a system, a platform to help older people to stay healthy and active both privately and in retirement communities.
What are your food preferences and physical attributes?
Adrian Savinovic: I lead an extremely healthy lifestyle. I don’t drink or smoke. I’m 90% carnivore which means I maintain a 90% high protein diet consisting mainly of meat and animal products. I drink about a gallon to a gallon and a half of water. I don’t touch sweets and stay away from sugar except fruit, fried food and processed food. I work out 7 days a week, on top of that I also swim, cycle rock climb, golf, box and play table tennis. I maintain a very low body fat and a very high muscle mass. My body is my temple, a gift from God so I treated it as such.
Your love life, relationships and family?
Adrian Savinovic: I have a very small family. I’m an only child. I’m super close to my mom and dad and talk to them every day.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Adrian Savinovic: I have a very ‘Stoic’ philosophy type approach to life. Life is unpredictable, nothing is promised, and we have to play the cards we’re dealt. Life will break you, challenge you, chew you up into pieces and spit you out a million times over and all we can do is get back up, smile and keep moving. Sometimes people die because they don’t want to live anymore. We’re here for a very short period of time so we must use every second of every day to live and grow. Don’t complain, don’t feel sorry for yourself because nobody owes you anything. If you want to win at life you have to fight, crawl and bite because the work and the competition will never stop. The moment you stop a million other people are waiting in the wings to take your place and they don’t care about you. Stay focused, set your goals and go out there and fight for them. Discipline is everything. Passion will only take you so far but discipline will make you push on days you don’t feel like, so stay disciplined. Finally remember; a dream is just a dream without action.
